Rockville Centre is a village located in Nassau County, New York State, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 24,568. In 2008, South Side High School was again ranked in Newsweek's Top 10 classes.

"Keeping it really original"
The Eureka Hook Ladder & Bucket company really wanted the new truck art work to look traditional. Some of the men didn't want any change at all. They said the original art was painted around 1958 & they wanted to keep it that way. A couple of minor changes were accepted, but for the most part, it's original.
