1960's HIP BOWING ALLEY STYLE & COLOR

Gary was asked to create a multi-layered dimensional sign with a 1960's coloring & bowling alley flair.
Carving PVC & using Alumalite, a substrate of 2 thin sheets of aluminum & a center of corrugated plastic, this sign will last indefinitely. Gary also sprayed an automotive urethane paint & finally hand painted the details with 1Shot lettering enamel.
This unique sign can be seen in the town of Babylon, NY on Nancy Blvd.

A customer brought me a Bob Seger “Against the Wind” album & wanted me to copy the horses on the cover onto his pickup truck’s tailgate….
I said, "NO! The original art was boring & I could do better".

Airbrushed 1934 Rolls Royce
Gary was asked by Pep Boys Speed Shops, to do another airbrushed art project for them at the Barrett Jackson Auction.
This time in Palm Beach, Florida
Pep Boys Speed Shops marketing division had the concept of an old world car with a lot of chrome, so it would reflect a palm tree. It was up to Gary to create it ----

Carroll Shelby (1923-2012) An American automobile designer & racing legend.
Pep Boys Speed Shops marketing division, supplied Gary, with a 1968 Shelby Mustang hood & wanted it to be painted the now famous & original Shelby gold color. They asked if Gary could paint a portrait of Carroll. They new he could paint the 1968 Shelby Mustang on the hood.
The Shelby Foundation had to approve the idea & they did!
After a huge successfulendeavor at the Barrett Jackson Orange County, California Auction last June 2012, Gary was asked & contracted by Pep Boys Speed Shops, to do another airbrushed art project for them at the Barrett Jackson Auction in Las Vegas this past September 2012.

Pep Boys Speed Shops marketing division had the concept of modifying the original "WELCOME TO LAS VEGAS" sign, to read Barrett Jackson and to incorporate the associates manufacturer's logos. They also wanted a 1949 Mercury lead sled slammed down in the picture.
It was up to Gary to create it ---- on an original '49 Merc hood.

"Daddy’s Little Girl Forever"
It’s not often that an automotive artist is asked to do a portrait of someone. Gary was asked to do, not one but two airbrushed portraits on a 1957 Chevrolet. On the Continental tire cover kit to be exact. That’s less than 25 inches of working space with a license plate in the way.

The two portraits are of the ’57 Chevy owners’ daughter, one when she was a baby, less than two years old & one when she got married. She will always be “Daddy’s Little Girl Forever.”
I have been given the quintessential honor of being asked to hand pinstripe a new model Steinway piano for
STEINWAY & SONS
at the original factory in Astoria, New York.
The Steinway & Sons name has been synonymous with the finest pianos & standard of excellence since 1853. A high level of traditional craftsmanship, painstaking attention to detail, and premium grade materials used are attributes of every instrument hand crafted in New York and Hamburg.
Gary was contracted by Pep Boys Speed Shops, in association with Barrett Jackson Auctions & Sherwin Williams Automotive Paints to do airbrush art work for them at the Barrett Jackson Orange County, California Auction.
Working with the Pep Boys marketing division, Gary re-designed the Pep Boys Speed Shop logo & airbrushed it onto a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle hood at the event.
